Warner Christian Academy (WCA) is a Christian private school located at 1730 South Ridgewood Ave. in South Daytona, Florida and was founded in September 1972.[2] It is a ministry of White Chapel Church of God.(White Chapel Church Website) in South Daytona, FL.[1]
Background
Warner Christian Academy first opened its doors in 1971 with a first-grade class and later a day care. In September 1972, WCA started the school year with 200 students in grades K5 through 9. By the fall of 1973, the school population grew to 400 and the athletic department was started.[3]
As of October 2014, Warner Christian Academy has over 600 students enrolled.
Academics
Warner Christian Academy is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). ACSI is a charter member of the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), and the accreditation program of ACSI has been fully recognized by them. NCPSA is a national review panel for the standards and procedures of private school accrediting associations and is recognized in Florida as an indicator of a quality accreditation process.
