Western Storm is an English women's Twenty20 cricket team based in Taunton. They were formed in 2016 to compete in the inaugural season of the Women's Cricket Super League. They will play their home matches at the County Ground, Taunton as well as Nevil Road. They are captained by Heather Knight, coached by Caroline Foster and Lisa Pagett as General Manager. The team is partnered with Somerset County Cricket Club, Gloucestershire County Cricket Club and University of Exeter. The squad includes overseas players Stafanie Taylor, Rachel Priest and Lizelle Lee as well as England players Heather Knight, Anya Shrubsole and Fran Wilson.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
