William Hugh Spottiswoode (12 July 1864 – 20 August 1915) was an English cricketer. Spottiswoode was a right-handed batsman who was an underarm slow, although with which arm he bowled is unknown.
Spottiswoode made his 2 first-class appearances for Kent in 1890 against Yorkshire and Gloucestershire.[1] In his 2 first-class matches he scored 51 runs at a batting average of 17.00, with a high score of 37.
Spottiswoode died at Llandrindod Wells, Radnorshire on 20 August 1915.
Family
Spottiswoode's son-in-law Gerry Crutchley and uncle Reginald Arbuthnot both played first-class cricket.
