Wintec
Wintec is an Australian saddle manufacturer known for the first synthetic saddles.[1][2]
History
The company is a subsidiary of Bates Australia, originally established in 1934,[3] and is known for its innovative approach to saddle manufacturing.[2] in particular the synthetic "Wintec".[4]
Saddles
The company's saddles have two innovative features: the Easy Change Gullet System and the CAIR Panel System.[5]
The Easy Change Gullet System was designed in 1998 to help custom fit a saddle to a horse’s withers, maintaining clearance of the wither as the horse’s shape changes.[6] and help maintain a good saddle fit [7]
The CAIR Panel System, an air filled panel, was developed in 2000 as an alternative to the traditional flocking in saddles,[5] and helps to evenly distribute the rider’s weight.[8][9] [10]

The Wintec Isabell is similar to the Bates Isabell but is synthetic. The 'Isabell' as it is affectionately known was developed in consultation with World Dressage Champion Isabell Werth, to support both horse and rider as a team.
The difference the Isabell saddle makes to your riding is quite profound, as radical features including the Adjustable Ergonomic Stirrup Bar take the effort out of sitting in the correct position.
