Released in March 1969 from the band's fourth album, The Soft Parade, "Wishful Sinful" follows the general theme of the album by incorporating elements of classical music. It reached No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1969.
The single peaked at No. 3 in Denmark and stayed in the Top 10 for a month.[1]
