Woollim Entertainment (Korean: 울림엔터테인먼트; Ullim Enteoteinmeonteu) is a South Korean record label and entertainment agency founded in 2003. Its current roster includes Infinite, Jisun, Rphabet, Lovelyz, Joo,[2]and Kim Min-seok.[3] In August 2013, it merged with S.M. Entertainment's subsidiary S.M. Culture & Contents (S.M. C&C) to create an independent label "Woollim Label", whose music will be different from SM Entertainment's sounds with their own color of music and an eclectic lineup of artists.[4]
On March 21, 2016 SM C&C (SM Culture & Contents Co., Ltd.) announced that it decided to separate its video content business from its music content business. SM C&C will establish Woollim Entertainment (Woollim Entertainment Co., Ltd) to handle its music content business, with SM C&C owning all stocks of the company. The partition came into effect on June 8, 2016.[5][6]
