Xi Columbae is a yellow-orange giant star in the constellation Columba. This star, along with ζ CMa, λ CMa, γ Col, δ Col, θ Col, κ Col, λ Col and μ Col, were Al Ḳurūd (ألقرد - al-qird), the Apes.[1]
