Yesterday When I Was Young
This article is about the play. For the song by Charles Aznavour, see Yesterday, When I Was Young.
Yesterday When I Was Young is a play based on the real-life experiences of Josie Pickering, a housewife from Manchester who became so dissatisfied with her married life that she turned to lesbianism and eventually became a dominatrix.
In 2007, the play was taken to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival by Hope Theatre Company and starred Erin Shanagher in the title and only role.
