Žimutice is a village and municipality (obec) in České Budějovice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 31.73 square kilometres (12.25 sq mi), and has a population of 572 (as at 31 March 2008).
Žimutice lies approximately 26 kilometres (16 mi) north of České Budějovice and 99 km (62 mi) south of Prague.
