1. MNZ League

1. MNZ League was the fourth tier competition in Slovenian football pyramid. The league began on August 22, 2015[1] and ended on June 11, 2016.

After seven rounds, the clubs went on strike over dispute about refereeing costs.[2] After 3 weeks the league resumed with round 10 and unplayed rounds 8 and 9 were rescheduled to be played after round 13. Unlike 2. MNZ and 3. MNZ the format of 1. MNZ League remained unchanged.

  2. Fram withdrew from competition after round 24 and were thus relegated to the lowest possible league. All remaining games were awarded to their opponents.

2. MNZ League was the fifth tier competition in Slovenian football pyramid. The league began on August 22, 2015[1] and ended on June 4, 2016.

After seven rounds, the clubs went on strike over dispute about refereeing costs.[2] After 3 weeks the league resumed, however the format was changed from three cycles into two cycles.[3]

MNZ Maribor Cup

All MNZ Maribor member clubs in any level of Slovenian league pyramid were eligible, except Maribor who played in 1. SNL. Clubs that played in 1. MNZ League (4th level) or higher were required to participate, while participation for lower level clubs was optional.[5] Maribor's B team participation in cup was also optional.

Both finalists qualified for 2016-17 Slovenian Cup.

All rounds were contested in a single game (first team was the host).
