The 3rd Asian Youth Games will be held in Surabaya, Indonesia in 2021.[1] Olympic Council of Asia had been decided to postpone 2017 Asian Youth Games until this event in 2021.[2]
Bidding process
On November 8, 2012, Olympic Council of Asia awarded the 2021 Asian Youth Games hosting rights to Surabaya. Surabaya was an unsuccessful bidder for the 2019 Asian Games when they were defeated by Hanoi, Vietnam.
