Owned and operated as part of Southern Cross Austereo's Hit Network, it broadcasts a contemporary hit radio format to Mount Isa and Cloncurry, Queensland. First broadcast in 1993, today the station's programming is also carried on the Resonate Broadcasting-owned and operated Hot FM Charters Towers - on air, both stations are branded as Hot FM West Queensland.
