Arthur Ssegwanyi (born March 12, 1988) is a Ugandan Chess International Master. [1]
He is the top-rated player in Eastern Africa and the third International Master to emerge from the region.
In 2015 he qualified to play in the 2015 Chess World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan after winning the Zone 4.2 Individual Chess Championship with a score of 7.5/9. [2] He was also awarded the IM title for this performance.
