Geography

Aurora Center is located at 43°51′44″N 98°21′13″W / 43.86222°N 98.35361°W / 43.86222; -98.35361 (43.862198, -98.353642).[3]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2), all land.

Aurora's location is more prone to tornadic activity than elsewhere in South Dakota.[4]

Demographics
