Baghala ghatogh or baghali ghatogh (in Persian: باقلا قاتوق) is an Iranian dish (especially the north of Iran) made with Baghalas (Rashti faba beans), dill, and Eggs. It's usually served with Kateh (Persian rice dish) in the northern provinces such as Gilan and Mazandaran, therefore Baghala ghatogh works as a Khoresh (Persian stew). It is spiced with turmeric, salt, garlic, and sometimes pepper.[1][2]
Dried beans have to be soaked overnight.[2]
