Barzana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of Milan and about 9 kilometres (6 mi) northwest of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,645 and an area of 2.1 square kilometres (0.81 sq mi).[1]
