The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Comilla is an autonomous organization, that is responsible for holding public examinations (JSC, S.S.C and H.S.C) in Comilla and near by 5 districts of Comilla Division.[2] The board is established in 1962, under the East Pakistan Intermediate and Secondary Education (Amendment) Ordinance, 1962.[3]
The present chairperson of the board is Professor Indu Bhushan Bhowmik.[4][5]
