Boss is an unincorporated community in eastern Dent County, Missouri, United States.[1] It is located about 18 miles east of Salem on Route 32.
A post office called Boss has been in operation since 1901.[2] The community has the nickname of Marion "Boss" Nelson, a lumberman supervisor.[3]
