Michael Cameron (Cameron) Lawther (born 2 March 1990) is an award winning English film producer who has garnered acclaim and recognition for a number of short films and his first feature film, AfterDeath.
A number of short films produced by Lawther have won film festivals around the world, and premiered at Cannes film festival, St. Louis film festival and Austin Film festival, as well as showing at the London Film festival.
In 2014 he won the British Lion Award for best independent short film at the London Independent film awards.
Cameron spent the early stages of his film career as an assistant director before moving on to work notably for Brad Pitt over a period of three and a half years on films including World War Z and Fury. He also spent time as an assistant to Kenneth Branagh, Gerard Butler and F. Gary Gray.
He is the brother of actor Alex Lawther.
