Ciriaco Taraxes
Ciriaco Taraxes is a classically educated composer, born in Serres, Greece near Thessalonika in 1969. He began to write his first compositions and started playing the piano and guitar at the age of six. After winning a scholarship at age fifteen, he studied classical music composition and theory in Athens and Munich.
Taraxes has written hundreds of classical music pieces, including concertos and solo music for the piano, guitar, flute, and other instruments. Since the mid-1990s, Taraxes has also focused on composing rock and popular music.
Taraxes has contributed his composing skills to the following artists:
