Công Kim Hoà was born in Hanoi in 1962 and graduated from the Hanoi College of Fine Art in 1985.
Hoa comes from an artistic family and her parents Cong Ton Toan and Dinh Thi Lieu are a well-accomplished family in Hanoi. Her brother Công Quốc Hà is an established lacquer painter itself with numerous awards and honors in Vietnam and abroad.[1]
