The Czech–Slovak Battlegroup[2][3] or (incorrectly) Czech–Slovak Battle Group[4][5] is an EU Battlegroup, led by the Czech Republic, in which Slovakia also participates. It consists of 2500 soldiers - 2100 Czechs and 400 Slovaks.[1] It was on standby from 1 July 2009 until 31 December 2009.
The battlegroup is capable of rapid deployment in a region of 6000 km far within 10 days.
