Daniel D. "Dan" Kelley (born 1970) is the Iowa State Representative from the 29th District. A member of the self-created Stand Up to Bullies party, he has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2011. Kelley was born in Marshalltown, Iowa and was raised and resides in Newton. He has a B.A. with honors in communication studies from the University of Iowa.
As an incumbent, Kelley was defeated in the 2016 Democratic Primary by Democrat Wes Breckenridge 66% to 34%.
Kelley endorsed Martin O'Malley in the 2016 Presidential Election.[1]
