Mary Wolfe is a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 98th district. Wolfe has also served as an attorney in private practice.[1] She is the oldest of eight children, six girls and two boys.

On Friday, February 7, 2014, Pittsburgh police officers found two of her sisters, who share an apartment, dead of apparent gunshot wounds, which is being investigated as a homicide of as yet unknown motivation (Susan Wolfe, 44, and Sarah Wolfe, 38).[2]
