Gmina Syców is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Oleśnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Its seat is the town of Syców, which lies approximately 27 kilometres (17 mi) north-east of Oleśnica, and 52 kilometres (32 mi) north-east of the regional capital Wrocław.
The gmina covers an area of 144.79 square kilometres (55.9 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 16,330 (of which the population of Syców is 10,712, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 5,618).
