Hyderabad Public School, Kadapa
The Hyderabad Public School, Kadapa is a school in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, India.
It is a branch of the Hyderabad Public School Society established in 2005. It was inaugurated by Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, then Chief Minister of the state of Andhra Pradesh.[1]
Management
The Hyderabad Public Schools were established by the Hyderabad Public School Society and are run by a Board of Governors. The Hyderabad public School Society is headed by a President and has a Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and four members as the Managing Committee. The Principal Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, School Education Dept., is the Chairman of the Board of Governors. Vice-Principal(U.S Murthy) was looking into the issues of the school until the appointment of full time Principal in 2012.

Curriculum
English is the medium of instruction. The school provides 4 years schooling to begin with. The School prepares the students for the ICSE Public Examination.
The syllabus for classes V to VIII enables students to sit for the Class X ICSE examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.
English, Environmental Education, Mathematics, Sciences(Physics/Biology/Chemistry) History/Geography/Civics are compulsory at the ClassX ICSE level. Students have to study one Indian language — Hindi, Telugu or Urdu.
Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) is a compulsory subject which is necessary fore the candidate to pass in the internal assessment by the school.

Uniform
Boys
Khaki shirt, short sleeves with provision for shoulder tabs, shoulder tabs, khaki socks and black leather shoes and black belt. Students from Class 9 onwards wear khaki trousers.
Girls
Olive green pinafore and light cream colour shirt, white socks and black shoes and white ribbons.
P.T. uniform
Students wear games uniform issued by the school during P.T. classes and games periods.
Sports and games
For the residential boarders, the day starts with morning PT and group games. Games are compulsory for one hour during the late afternoon on five days each week. The main games played are basketball, cricket, football, volleyball, tennicoit, chess, and carroms and other games. Training in athletics is a feature in the games programme.
