Joseph (Jay) F. Feeney, Jr. is an American financial executive and currently the co-chief executive officer and chief investment officer of Robeco Boston Partners.[1]

Career

Feeney began his career in 1985 as a commercial loan officer for the Bank of Boston, specializing in transportation, industrial, and highly leveraged loan portfolios. In 1991, he joined Putnam Investments, where he managed mortgage-backed securities portfolios. Feeney then became one of the original partners of Boston Partners Asset Management in 1995 which was fully acquired by Robeco, a Dutch asset management firm, in 2003. Feeney has been co-chief executive officer at Robeco Boston Partners since 2008 and its chief investment officer since 2007 and also serves as its portfolio manager. Feeney is responsible for strategic, financial, and tactical operating decisions and for overseeing all aspects of equity management of client assets of $76.4 billion as of June 30, 2016.[1]

Education

Feeney graduated from Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, Massachusetts in 1981. He then received his received a B.S. degree in Finance, Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of New Hampshire and his M.B.A. with High Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.[1]
