Jet Privilege Private Limited (JPPL) is an independent Loyalty and Rewards Management Company. The company was formed in 2014, following the strategic alliance between Jet Airways and Etihad Airways, to manage, operate, market and further develop the JetPrivilege programme. where Jet Airways holds approximately 49.9% of the shares and Etihad Airways PJSC holds 50.1% of the shares.[1][2] JetPrivilege, in August 2016, pledged to donate monetary donation equivalent to five million JPMiles to two NGOs Project Nanhi Kali and Save the Children.[3][4]
History
JetPrivilege is a frequent-flyer programme introduced by Jet Airways in the year 1994, with the vision to provide to its members a highly rewarding flying experience.[5] In the year 2014, Jet Airways embarked upon a reorganization along with Etihad Airways, as a strategic partner, to establish Jet Privilege Pvt. Ltd. (JPPL) as an independent loyalty and rewards management company with a mandate to own and manage the operations of the loyalty programme, JetPrivilege.[6] Post the alliance between Jet Airways and Etihad Airways, Jet Privilege Private Limited became a part of the Etihad Loyalty Group Company. It launched its new website in September 2015.[7]
Programme
JPMiles is the programme currency of JetPrivilege. A JetPrivilege member earns JPMiles whenever they fly with Jet Airways, Etihad Airways or any of the 25+ airline partners. JetPrivilege members can also earn JPMiles by transacting with any of the 150+ programme partners across categories like banking, hotels, retail, and dining.[8] Accumulated JPMiles can then be redeemed by the members for Award Flights to 1000+ destinations of their choice. In June 2016, JetPrivilege launched Rewardstore.[9] Through Rewardstore JetPrivilege members can use their JPMiles for 500+ reward options other than award flights. The redemption options available on the Reward Store include Amazon Gift vouchers, Mobile Phones, Travel gear, Home appliances, Jewellery, Accessories to name a few.

A tier review system, DTR is an award winning, multi-period and multi-criteria -based tier review.[13] The DTR evaluates membership tiers based on Tier Points and Tier JPMiles collected upon flying with Jet Airways and Etihad Airways Partner carriers. The membership tier movement depends upon the collected ‘Tier Points’ and 'Tier Miles'; with DTR upgrade to the higher tier is quicker and tier renewal is easier.
