Qadam Qadam Badaye Ja
Qadam Qadam Badhaye Ja (Hindi: क़दम क़दम बढ़ाये जा) was the regimental quick march of the Subhas Chandra Bose's Indian National Army. Written by Pt. Vanshidhar Shukla. Composed by Ram Singh Thakuri, it was banned in India after World War II as "seditious", which was subsequently lifted in August 1947. The song has since become a patriotic song in India, and has been re-interpreted by various Indian musicians including C. Ramachandra and A.R. Rahman. The song is currently the regimental quickmarch of the Indian Army.[1][2]

Keep stepping forward
Sing songs of happiness as you go
This life belongs to our motherland
Lay it down for her a hundredfold
March forward You the Tiger of India
never ever be afraid to die
By Blowing away the enemy's head
Raise the spirits of your nation
Take all your steps forward
Sing songs of happiness as you go
Your life belongs to the motherland
Lay it down for her a hundredfold
Let your courage be ever increasing
Let The Lord listens to you
As for he who stands in your way
Turn him into dust and stamp him into the ground
Take all your steps forward
Sing songs of happiness as you go
This life belongs to motherland
Lay it down for her a hundredfold
"Towards Delhi" you yell
Hold your banner high
Plant it on the Red Fort
And let it fly eternally
Take all your steps forward
Sing songs of happiness as you go
This life belongs to motherland
Lay it down for her a hundredfold

More Poetic lyrics(not official)
March,March on forward
With pleasure-songs onward.
Life belongs to the land.
You Better die than Backward.(Refrain)
Indian tigers, spring ahead
Save thy nation than thy head.
Striking terror among enemies
To thee is feather-bed.
Thy valor is again free
Thy Almighty graces thee.
Thy Enemy at the front
Sinks down on his knee.
"To Delhi" be thy Battle Cry,
hoisting thy standard high.
Fluttering atop the Lalquila
Let it fly, let it fly.
