Lachnocaulon (bogbutton)[1] is a genus of plants in the Eriocaulaceae. It contains 7 known species, native to Cuba and to the southeastern United States (from Texas to Virginia).[2][3][4][5]

  2. Lachnocaulon beyrichianum Sporl. ex Körn - Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North and South Carolina
  3. Lachnocaulon cubense Ruhland - Cuba, apparently extinct
  4. Lachnocaulon digynum Körn - from eastern Texas to the Florida Panhandle
  5. Lachnocaulon ekmanii Ruhland - Cuba
  6. Lachnocaulon engleri Ruhland - Florida, southern Alabama
  7. Lachnocaulon minus (Chapm.) Small - Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North and South Carolina
