Leptolalax tuberosus (granular toad) is a frog species in the family Megophryidae. It is endemic to Vietnam and known only from the central highlands of the country (Gia Lai, Quảng Nam, and Thừa Thiên–Huế Provinces).[2] Its natural habitats are tropical moist lowland forests, moist montane forests, and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.[1]
Description
Leptolalax tuberosus is a medium-sized Leptolalax: males measure 24–30 mm (0.94–1.18 in) in snout-vent length; female is 30 mm (1.2 in). Its back is dark grey or black with obscure light speckling, with light speckling on the sides.[3]
