Louden, Ohio
Louden is an unincorporated community in Adams County, in the U.S. state of Ohio.[1]
History
Louden had its start in the late 1830s when a store was built there.[2] The community was named after Loudoun County, Virginia, the native home of a large share of the early settlers.[2] The post office Louden once had was called Lovett's.[2] This post office was established in 1847, and remained in operation until 1907.[3]
