NUTS statistical regions of Croatia
Croatia (HR) is included in the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS) of the European Union. The NUTS of Croatia were defined during the Accession of Croatia to the European Union, codified by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics in early 2007.[1] The regions were last revised in 2012.[2][3]
The three NUTS levels are:[2]
- NUTS-1: Croatia
- NUTS-2: 2 Regions (non-administrative)
- NUTS-3: 21 Counties (administrative)

- HR04 Kontinentalna Hrvatska (Continental Croatia)
- HR041 Grad Zagreb (City of Zagreb)
- HR042 Zagrebačka županija (County of Zagreb)
- HR043 Krapinsko-zagorska županija (County of Krapina-Zagorje)
- HR044 Varaždinska županija (County of Varaždin)
- HR045 Koprivničko-križevačka županija (County of Koprivnica-Križevci)
- HR046 Međimurska županija (County of Međimurje)
- HR047 Bjelovarsko-bilogorska županija (County of Bjelovar-Bilogora)
- HR048 Virovitičko-podravska županija (County of Virovitica-Podravina)
- HR049 Požeško-slavonska županija (County of Požega-Slavonia)

Below the NUTS levels, there are two LAU levels:[4]
- LAU-1: none (same as NUTS-3)
- LAU-2: Cities and municipalities (Gradovi i općine)
