Onni Talas

Onni Eugen Aleksander Talas (June 15, 1877, Lappeenranta — May 3, 1958, Helsinki; till 1895 Gratschoff) was a Finnish lawyer, politician, professor and diplomat who was a member of the Senate of Finland.[1] He was also the ambassador to Denmark (1930–1934), Hungary (1931–1940),[2] Austria (1933–1938), Turkey (1934–1940),[3] Bulgaria (1934–1940),[4] Yugoslavia (1934–1940),[5] Italy (1940–1944)[6] and the Independent State of Croatia (1941–1942).[1] He served as a professor of administrative law at the University of Helsinki in 1925–1930.
