Osina [ɔˈɕina] (German: Schönhagen) is a village in Goleniów County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Osina.[1] It lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) north-east of Goleniów and 36 km (22 mi) north-east of the regional capital Szczecin.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
