Payakaraopet Assembly constituency is a SC (Scheduled Caste)[1] reserved constituency of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, India. It is one among 15 constituencies in the Visakhapatnam district.
Overview
It is part of the Anakapalli Lok Sabha constituency along with another six Vidhan Sabha segments, namely, Chodavaram, Madugula, Anakapalle, Yelamanchili, Pendurthi, and Narsipatnam.
Local leaders
Kakara Nookaraju (TDP), Vangalapudi Anitha (TDP) are the only local leaders who were elected as MLA from this constituency.
