Pio Duran, officially the Municipality of Pio Duran (Filipino: Bayan ng Pio Duran), is a municipality in the province of Albay in the Bicol Region (Region V) of the Philippines. The population was 46,693 at the 2015 census.[3] In the 2016 election, it had 29,184 registered voters.[4]

Access to the town is via Ligao.

Geography

Pio Duran is located at 13°02′N 123°27′E / 13.03°N 123.45°E / 13.03; 123.45.

According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, the municipality has a land area of 133.7 square kilometres (51.6 sq mi)[2] constituting 5.19% of the 2,575.77-square-kilometre- (994.51 sq mi) total area of Albay.
