Rattling Sabres
Rattling Sabres were a five-piece band based in Australia.
Their major claim to fame was a single released in 1987 titled "All Fired Up",[1][2] which charted nationally, peaking at No. 94 on the Australian Singles Chart. The song was covered by Pat Benatar a year later, becoming a world-wide smash. Regrettably EMI could not keep up with demand at the time, and there was a long delay before the next batch of vinyl came through. By this time, the hype was gone, and so too was another Australian Band.
Band members included:
- Robert Price (vocals)
- Kerryn Tolhurst (lead guitar)
- Leyton Greening
- Lindsay Hodgson
- John Lee
- Chong Lim
- Bruce Nightingale
- Ivan Kral
- Tony Shanahan
Kerryn Tolhurst also was in The Dingoes. He also produced an album for Russell Crowe's band 30 odd foot of grunt.
