Richard Nowell

Richard Nowell (born 29 December 1975, Croydon, Greater London) is an English ex-professional cricket player with Surrey County Cricket Club in the period 1995-6.[1] His batting style was left-hand bat and his bowling style was slow left-arm orthodox.[2]
Nowell was educated at Trinity School of John Whitgift.
Nowell is known for being attacked by wildlife. He once had his shoulder dislocated by a rather enthusiastic magpie. Since then he has been spotted dropping pies while running from mudlarks. He was once attacked by a magpie sleeping in a bunker during a round of golf. He has since vowed to destroy all avian creatures.
