Rock Island Township is located in Rock Island County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 17,776 and it contained 7,271 housing units.[1]
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 5.74 square miles (14.9 km2), of which 4.84 square miles (12.5 km2) (or 84.32%) is land and 0.9 square miles (2.3 km2) (or 15.68%) is water.[1]
