The Sandringham Sabres are a basketball team from Sandringham, Victoria that plays in the South East Australian Basketball League (SEABL). From 2000 to 2008, the Sabres played in the Big V before crossing over to the SEABL in 2009.[1] They had a very successful tenure in the Big V with the men's team competing in every grand final series between 2001 and 2008, while winning championships in 2002 and 2005. In addition, the women's team won the Big V championship in 2006 and were runners-up in 2003 and 2005.[2]
