Background
Seton Catholic Central was established in 1989. It replaced Mount Assumption Institute and St. John's Academy. The school moved to its present location on New York Avenue in 2004, purchasing a school on the former Plattsburgh Air Force Base.
The Alumni of the founding schools, Mount Assumption Institute, St. John's Academy, Our Lady of Victory, and D'Youville Academy, along with the Seton Alumni founded an Alumni Website powered by the Alumni Channel that allows the alumni to keep in touch with one another.[2]
