Spórok [ˈspurɔk] (German: Carmerau) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kolonowskie, within Strzelce County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) west of Kolonowskie, 15 km (9 mi) north of Strzelce Opolskie, and 25 km (16 mi) east of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II). Since November 2008 Spórok has also officially gone by its pre-war German name of Carmerau.
The village has a population of 667. It is the smallest village in the gmina.
