St. John's Church is a historic church at 101 Chapel Street in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The brick building was designed by Alexander Parris and built in 1807; it was the first brick church in the state of New Hampshire, and is a rare surviving early design by Parris. Its main facade has a slightly projecting center section, which has a recessed entry, as do the two flanking bays. Above each of these entries are Palladian windows. The triangular gable pediment has a lunette window in its tympanum.[2]
The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.[1]
