Trevor Mark Evans (born 28 August 1981) is an Australian politician. He is the member for Brisbane in the Australian House of Representatives. He is a member of the Liberal National Party of Queensland and succeeded the previous member, Teresa Gambaro, at the 2016 federal election.[1]
Before his election, Evans was the Chief Executive Officer of the National Retail Association. The contest for Brisbane in 2016 was the first time both major parties had put forward openly gay candidates in a single electorate: Evans and his Labor opponent, Pat O'Neill.[1]
