Movie theater
The mall originally had a Regal Cinemas 8-screen movie theater located on its western side operated by Regal Entertainment Group. The theater closed on February 18, 2013 due to declining attendance. It was replaced by a new 8-screen theater operated by Bow-Tie Cinemas, which features all digital projection and one 2000-square-foot screen. The mall's new Bow-Tie theater officially opened for business on October 25, 2013.[3][4][5]
Fifth and sixth anchors
The Wilton Mall now has its fifth anchor, JCPenney. The original fifth anchor was intended for Montgomery Ward, but it never came to The Wilton Mall due to bankruptcy in 1998. Later Boscov's was said to become Wilton Mall's fifth anchor store. However, officials in the Town of Clifton Park, New York convinced Boscov's to build a store at Clifton Park Center instead. A second 84,000-square-foot (7,800 m2) JCPenney has replaced the old one.[6] Half of the old JCPenney space was converted into a Planet Fitness, which opened in May 2012. The other half of the Old JC Penney space was converted into a branch of Burlington, Vermont's Healthy Living Market, a food store, which opened in March 2013, adding a sixth anchor.
