Zgornja Lipnica (pronounced [ˈzɡoːɾnja ˈliːpnitsa]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Radovljica in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia.

Mass graves

Zgornja Lipnica is the site of two known mass graves from the period immediately after the Second World War. The Lancovo 1 and 2 mass graves (Slovene: Grobišče Lancovo 1, 2) lie north of the settlement and contain the bodies of a large number of civilians and Croatian soldiers murdered on the night of 15 May 1945. The first grave lies 15 m from the road and is 5 to 3.5 m wide and 10.5 m long. The second grave lies on a wooded slope near the first.[2][3][4]
