EatOye is an online takeaway food delivery and table booking service, headquartered in Karachi, Pakistan and operating in 13 Pakistani cities. The platform allows customers to search for their favorite local take away restaurants and place orders online, choose from pick-up or delivery options. As of April 2014, EatOye has over 1000 restaurants offering services in Pakistan. They are intermediary in the delivery of around 2000 meals a day and have handled over a million transactions since site launched in May 2013. According to Alexa EatOye.pk has a ranking of 559 (as of march 2016) within Pakistan.
History
Prior to starting EatOye both founders Rai Umair and Nauman Sikandar ran Food Connection Pakistan as Pakistan’s premier food guide listing 3000 restaurants in 15 Pakistani cities from 2011 to 2013. Today FCPakistan.com redirects all traffic to EatOye.com.
Investment
EatOye started with undisclosed seed capital from Arpatech and Peak Holding in Karachi. Assets from FCPakistan.com were also merged as an investment by Rai Umair and Nauman Sikandar. They are now acquired by Foodpanda (www.foodpanda.com) as of February, 2015. EatOye also acquired Urbanite soon after in February, 2015.
