Galliera Veneta is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 45 kilometres (28 miles) northwest of Venice and about 30 km (19 mi) north of Padua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,830 and an area of 9.0 square kilometres (3.5 sq mi).[1]
